The first Munsel Thangka School of art & workshop was established by Kim Chong at Nepal, 2008 two years before she graduated from Tsering Art School. Munsel Thangka school has successfully trained wonderful artists from all around the world, including some nuns from Thrangu Monastery, and some Himalayan children. The aims of this school and workshop are producing the purest and yet finest Karma Gardi linage of paintings which originated from karma Kagyu tradition.
