Sarcoidosis treatment
The central nervous system is concerned in fewer than 1% of patients with sarcoidosis. There may be often granulomatous involvement of the basal meninges that subsequently affects the cranial nerves. Myelopathy often is the initial clinical presentation of intramedullary neurosarcoidosis.
