Our Biology section deals largely with crimes against the person and is divided into two teams - the Murder/Assault Team and the Sexual Assault Team. Items submitted to the laboratory are examined for the presence of body fluids such as blood , semen, saliva, urine vomit and stool and for damage. The transfer of trace evidence such as hairs and fibers is also analyzed
