PlayStation 4 is expected to be much more user-friendly and offer a ton of power. The implementation of the chip is suggested to use 6 – 8 cores, double precision performance, 24 – 32 MB of shared L3 cache and quad threading per core. The current cell architecture that is found in PlayStation 3 will be used on PS4 and it has been said that it will also be used on PS5 and PS6 consoles in the future to keep them more affordable.
