Zoloft is not approved for use in children except for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Zoloft and other SSRIs are linked to increased suicidality (thoughts of suicide and/or suicidal actions) in children. Children taking Zoloft should be observed very carefully.
